The Fourth Space was devised based on the three core life spaces where we all exist – Home, Work, Recreation. The Fourth Space is: Your space. It is where you have the freedom, support and ability to indulge and express your feminine self.

First and foremost we offer a discreet, exclusive and professional service in an environment that allows you to feel stress free, calm and comfortable. Building your confidence and style as you explore your feminine self is our main focus and priority. We cater for anyone that requires Makeovers, Photo shoots, Escorted trips, Events and even Personal Training with the same enthusiasm that brings our customers back time and time again. We will do our very best to put you at your ease and pride ourselves on our friendly, approachable and fun manner! We must stress that we absolutely do not offer Personal / Sexual Services of any kind.
Where are you located? Top
The Fourth Space photographic studios are based in two different locations. We operate from one in Chelsea, West London and the other is near Farringdon in Central London. Both locations are easily accessible by rail, bus or car. Our home location is situated in the Royal Borough of Windsor in Berkshire accessed easily from Heathrow Airport, the M4 and M25 motorways. We have ample parking both on and off road.
Do you offer accommodation? Top
We do indeed offer accommodation and are delighted to be able to provide luxury rooms in our charming Georgian townhouse located discretely in the heart of historic Windsor. This allows our clients to stay as long or as little in their femme role as they wish.
I am inexperienced and nervous about visiting The Fourth Space Top
So were we the first time we went out! Tamara went out for the first time in 2003 and has never looked back. We welcome and encourage everyone regardless of their background, knowledge or experience! First and foremost our main priority is to offer you the chance to realize and fulfil your feminine aspirations. Remember, The Fourth Space was devised and is run by a unique partnership consisting of two people who came together from different walks of life. Tim aka Tamara and Jo have been through a magnitude of complex emotions which has enabled immense foresight not to mention empathy affording them total understanding in dealing with first timers and nervous customers – after all everyone has to start somewhere and what better place to start than here with us! We pride ourselves on offering bespoke appointments based on the individual. Prior to any appointment we hope to ascertain via email or conversation with you a general overview and profile so that we can understand your needs and build a rapport which ensures more importantly that you can trust and feel confident in us at The Fourth Space. We have customers who visit us from all over the world. We are perfectly located for London Heathrow Airport as well as the M25, M4, M3 and M40 Motorways. Luckily London is one of the most tranny friendly capitals in the world. International clients are always welcome at The Fourth Space and often stay with us as part of their package. What makes us unique is the combination of the brainchild behind The Fourth Space, JoJo and Tim aka Tamara. JoJo has been a professional model and worked with many top stylists and photographers within the fashion industry. She has worked in both film and television as a commercial, photographic and fashion model .She is also a professional make up artist. Her partner Tim aka Tamara has been a cross dresser since he was able to put on his first pair of heels! The combination of them both adds a unique blend of understanding, knowledge, expertise, experience and humility enabling the creation of The Fourth Space – a rare, exciting and dynamic duo! Collectively they have pulled together a wider team of professionals to add to their vision of making The Fourth Space the very best at what we do.
How do I make an appointment? Top
Whilst it is always advisable to book as much in advance as possible it is not always realistic and possible. We understand this. It may be that you decide on an impromptu visit to us as we understand and appreciate the nature and urge to venture out can often be an impulsive decision! We suggest where possible to avoid disappointment that you do try to book 5 – 10 days in advance if you can but always feel free to contact us to check our availability for all our services. Customers who wish to discuss any aspect with us further, or who want something a little “different” please don’t hesitate to contact us. What are The Fourth Space payment methods? Top
We require customers to leave us a 50% deposit in order for you to secure your booking. On confirmation of your appointment we request an electronic transfer of the appropriate amount. We will advise you our relevant details for transfers upon booking. Completion of payment is required on the day of your appointment upon arrival. We also accept and welcome cash or cheques (with a guarantee card). Refunds will be given if you let us know 48 Hours in advance of the time of your booking.
What should I bring with me when I visit The Fourth Space? Top
We encourage girls to bring as much or as little of their own wardrobe as they need to. Depending on the service you are booking and your experience we will help style a look that works best for you based on a selection of what you bring in conjunction with the The Fourth Space wardrobe. Most girls bring their own lingerie and hosiery although we do have a selection if required.
What happens on a Professional Photo shoot? Top
Before we go to our studio we like to meet and greet you over a coffee nearby to the studio. We feel it is best to have this initial meeting before the shoot even starts so we can put you at your ease and arrive together. This also helps with first time nerves before you meet the rest of the team. We will discuss what sort of shots you aim to achieve eg. glamour, high fashion, natural etc. Once introduced to our photographer and make up artist we will then get you to change into your lingerie and a robe so we can start to work on your makeover. This also helps to get you into character of being a model for the next few hours. This includes nails and hair / wig styling. Once we are done we will then get you into your outfit and start the first set of shots. We will work with you to style your look and advise on the best poses to maximise the look you are trying to achieve. Typically you will have a make up artist, stylist and photographer – all of which have been selected because of their skill, talent and most importantly their ability to put you at your ease. We are particularly privileged to have worked along side such genuine individuals and value and respect their input immensely. The session typically lasts no more than three hours from make up to the final shot. We aim to get the right shots before changing into another outfit. Primarily our photo shoot experience is based on obtaining the right shots for you. We do not profess to offer copious amounts of shots for the sake of it – in fact we prefer to take our time to perfect each look. Once we have finished we will eliminate all traces of make up should that be your wish. Alternatively some girls are feeling so confident and liberated that they wish to capitalise on this feeling and sensational new look. They often choose to continue from the day into the evening and join us on an escorted trip. Typically this involves leaving the studio en femme, having a cocktail or two whilst the night is young and then going on to a tranny friendly club to end the evening in style. You will more than likely conclude your evening feeling tired, foot sore, but enlivened and incredibly happy!
What do I take away from a Photo shoot? Top
As well as the memories of being made to feel utterly fabulous and totally glamorized you will take with you on the day a CD of all the shots. What stands up apart is instant access to your shots as well as the fantastic option to have up to three of your images retouched which is included within the price. There is an option to have additional images retouched too.
What is retouching? Top
They say “the camera never lies” – I beg to differ says JoJo! Every girl occasionally needs a little helping hand to make them look fabulous. Digital retouching is an extension of the services we provide as part of our Fourth Space photo shoot experience. It enables us to enhance your photographs ensuring any imperfections are improved and your best features enhanced. Our team of digital retouchers have years of experience. They can enhance your images, remove spots and blemishes and re-shape your figure to perfection. This is possible due to the skill and technical wizardry via state of the art equipment.
What should I do to prepare myself for a Fourth Space visit? Top
Remember we are here to make you look great, but in order to do that successfully, we need as good a foundation as possible to build from as possible. Clients vary immensely on the level of femininity they can achieve based on their personal circumstances. Some clients are totally hair free and have pierced ears where others are not able to eliminate their body hair due to their own personal situation. The most important thing is to have a good facial shave before you arrive (leave this as late as possible or you can do it at ours if required). Sideburns, bushy brows etc all can be hidden but if you can keep the brows trimmed or the sideburns cut back it will help. Equally if you have a moustache or a beard it’s not going to really be possible to make you look that feminine! If you can Veet (depilatory cream) or wax your body hair this will also help with the range of styles you can achieve. Sheer tights and stockings on hairy legs do not look great. If you cannot get rid of your body hair it does not matter as we can use opaque hosiery and a clever use of wardrobe etc. But being realistic the more girly you can make yourself the more girly we can make you! Finally we suggest all our girls arrive clean and smelling sweet - Personal hygiene and glamour go hand in hand! If you are worried about anything then please contact us if you have any questions.

Of course! We totally understand that it is often comforting to have a familiar and friendly face with you on the day and if it will make you feel relaxed and more at ease, we would encourage you to do so. To ensure we get the best out of you we request that anyone accompanying you allows The Fourth Space team to perform their work unhindered. Our priority, focus and undivided attention is our commitment to you. Of course you could always make the day a little more fun by including them in your Photo shoot, escorted trip or makeover. Perhaps your partner would like some shots or makeover herself / himself? We are more than happy to assist if required.
I have never discussed my dressing up with anyone? Top
This is an all too familiar story. First of all you are not alone! Some estimates say 1 in 4 men enjoy dressing up as a girl. Tamara writes - My own personal experience was I kept to many secrets for too many years! It is only through meeting Jo that I have learned to strike a balance between Tim and Tamara. I hid my secret for 37 years and it even took me a year to confess my desire of dressing up to Jo. Whilst we offer no advice, counselling or opinion what we can do is listen and offer personal experience, stories which may go some way towards comforting and reassuring you. One thing to take away from this small paragraph is that there will always be a right and wrong time for everything in life - you have to listen and trust your intuition and instincts. Surely a metaphor for life in general. One thing that is really important to us is helping anyone who does not get the real fun and enjoyment of dressing up as they have to keep it behind locked doors.
